I’m a retired widow and graduate of the
Algonquin Floral Design program here
in Ottawa Ontario Canada. I’ve always been
interested in colour and design; I also design
and make quilts and all occasion cards.
It was spring 2022 and I was discouraged with
the poor quality and high price of seasonal
ribbons at my local arts and craft store. (Here,
in Canada, the M-store is really our only
source of ribbons. Or you can buy online and
pay a minimum of $16 in shipping) Out of this
frustration Ribbons by DK was born.
The French artist Henri Matisse once said
“Another word for creativity is courage”. Join
me on this creative journey as we discover
new designs and stretch our imaginations.
